Please be reminded that practices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays are COMPULSARY!

Practices start at 2.3o and usually end at 6

if u cant make it on any practices for some reason or another, please inform ms tan, nic, shawn, haziqah or any other member. make sure that he/she pass the msg and dun make us call u then tell us.Thanks.

P.S. those who havent pay ur band fund better clear ur debts ASAP!! and please come at least 10-15 mins earlier for practice (except for sec 4s who hav achievers) we dun have much time to SYF already..

We'll be going down to SCH tomorrow.
Reporting time is latest 2 (unless you have a valid reason like class etc.) Please do not dilly-dally, take your own sweet time, stroll in and take your own sweet time. Time is precious so let's work faster. Money is precious too. $750 for just an hour at SCH please.

We'll leave for SCH at about 3:15pm. Do remember to bring the essential things like your instruments, file and for the percussions, do remember to bring all your "Barang barang." When we are ready to leave to go back to sch, check if you guys have taken all ur stuff with you.

To the seniors (ex-members), enjoy what you are doing and work hard for your future. If you have time, always come and visit us and if possible, help out this current batch.. You all understand the happiness and sadness we had last time when we went for our SYF years ago...this current batch need all your suppport... My baby and I are also looking forward to seeing you all too...

To the current batch, try your best to do well and dont forget nicola's reminder for the SCH rehearsal. You have to work hard for this year SYF. We shall at least maintain our bronze..
I wanna see you all get an award before i can rest my mind and go off for my maternity leave.
All of you do listen to Mdm Chew, Mrs Lee, Mr Pan , Mr Ong, your BMs and DM when i am away..i dont want to see the band in a mess when i come back....

Next week we'll be going to SCH for rehearsel. Hope everyone will turn up.
Cuz that's the only day we get to rehearse at SCH. Purpose of doing that is to let you get used to the environment. Make adjustments when you're there, listen out for each other!!!

It had really been a long time since I had posted here, well this got to be another short post again, hey juniors, if you don't know me, I am Jie Meng, last time a trombonist in YSSB. Alright keep it short, guys please work hard, PLEASE. Do not tarnish YSSB and let people laugh that

"YSSB got bronze in 2007 BUT RETURN TO IT'S HISTORY IN 2009! That's a joke man."

Not only it will humiliate the school, think about yourself, especially those current sec4E5N (you should know me =D), don't you want to get something out when you graduate from the school? Keep it in your mind, only the people who works hard get paid hard.

And Ms Tan, Conductors, and ex-seniors had always been there for you, don't ever take it granted, there is no such things as take it for granted, whatever you take, you must return it beautifully (Current situation means results). Therefore, please continue striving for the best.

my lovely bandees. saiyidah here. in case the other juniors don't know who i am. i am theeeeee trombone senior (ex snr/alumni/the girl who was the station master at the pond during bandcamp games) haha.

well. 2008 has come to an end. im sure many stuffs took place this year and many stuffs will take place next year.

wow. there's so many things to look out for. well. i really hope things go well in 2009. a crucial year for you guys. you know, the last day of band camp. when you guys did your first attempt at Overture No.1 outside the library? it sent chills down my back. it was so beautiful, of course. lotsa parts were missing.

everytime i see you guys enjoying, laughing, teasing one another during band practice... i miss my band days. up till now. whenever i come back for band. then me and ama and fiiz and fian would go,

"ehh remember you did this during band camp in 2006?" "omgggg this was like..2007!!" "haha the KL hotel....room service!"

well. idk what else to say. let nature takes its course. see how 2009 works. if it isn't workin well.. take action.
