For those whom dislike Yishun Secondary Band.

Oh hello little juniors, been long since any of us ex-seniors. Apologies. :/

I was just gonna blog my own blog when I saw the Yishun Secondary School Symphonic Band blog on the very top. So I decided to click & see what's going on.

To my surprise, I saw some nasty or rather, not nice comments on the tagboard. Tsk. Kids nowdays.

If you people, whoever you may be, dislike YSSB then why are you here in the first place? It's worst if you're a band member & you hate band. Aren't you just contradicting yourself? Or you don't have brains to differentiate what's good & bad, what's love & hate?

So what if the band isn't some gold award holder. If you can make it become a gold band, wouldn't it be better? If you think that the band practices are boring, can you make it interesting? If you think that mastering an instrument is chicken feet, can you kindly show me that you can play a grade 3 piece with just 10 practices? Can you?

Yeah, you may think what's this crazy girl speaking here for? I'm telling you, whatever you may think this band is, you may label it as a lousy band, a sucky band, I don't care. It's the people that matters. I once had great time inside band, as a band member. So what each year we came back empty handed? We manage to cling onto a Sliver & Bronze for SYF. It's improvements that matters, not that stupid piece of metal. If you don't love your band members, you will never have good teamwork. Band isn't about whose gonna be the star, whose gonna be the main lead, NO. It's about teamwork. (I know you people are gonna say it's bullshit or whatever. Anyway, I don't bother even if you're like gonna hate me or curse me. Do it for all I care. It's not like your curse is gonna work on me. Becareful that it backfires.)

Whatever the case is, seniors & juniors should respect each other. That's the way to be in a band. You don't like the idea of being in the band? Or should I say you don't like being in YSSB? Bye. (:

"...In music, Americana is a loose subset of American folk music, that is perhaps best defined as "classic American music" — ranging in style from roots-based bluegrass to alternative country, gospel, blues, zydeco, and other native forms. One of the main reasons Americana is used to describe such a wide variety of musical genres is because of the diverse range of cultural influences which we call American..."
