dear members,pls be reminded to return ur blazers and ties when u have washed/dry-cleaned them.return them on practices after MYE.pls clear ur band fund for last and this year,especially the graduating seniors.for the ordering of SYF photos,pls give me ur names and the size u wanna buy.i suggest u should buy as it's the last SYF for most of us and only when more than 7o percent of the band ordered then we are 'allowed' to order.thanks ^^

Speech Day rehersal on monday
There is a Speech Day rehersal on monday, 13 April 2009. Pls bring your white, long sleeves, collared shirt, skirt for girls, long pants for guys, clog shoes and stockings for girls and black socks and shoes for guys. please tuck in your shirt and NO short skirt girls.uniform masters will be checking your attire. be in band room straight after changing after school. sit straight when playing downstairs, dun talk to ppl round u and percussion stand properly when playing. thanks.

heyy bandees. idk if you guys heard how you played during yr SYF performance. so i, have recorded a video of you guys plyg but its not exactly a video. well, i kept my handphone in my bag to avoid being caught. it may not be the best quality...but yeah, listen if you must! :) click on MF <<>
&& please comment/tag if taking the file. and 1 more thing, this file is in the wmv format which can only be played on your pc, at Windows Media Player. if you want it in yr hp....wait till i come back to school for band then i can blutooth the vid to you. or, you can always find an online mp3 converter.
that being said and done, imma go prepare for work now. and for the pictures that i have, i'll upload it to some media hosting site and share the links here. so, please please tag on the tagboard so that i know that the time taken to upload the files arent a waste of time. haha. enjoy!

hey band CONGRATS ON YESTERDAY'S ACHIEVEMENT!
sorry im one day late of posting this.. yesterday was just too tired.
anyways to the band...
its really been a great journey working with you all as one band. from the disciplinary action that we,the leaders,did, you all have shown us changes that we didnt expect it to be.. we all have put our great effort and hardwork throughout this competition. i know we couldnt achieve what we aim for but we should be proud that we maintain our reputation.do not blame urself..each and every one if us did mistake same goes to me too..but we all have to appreciate this. as a sec4e student, i felt blessed that i had the chance to compete this syf together with the band again yesterday. but yeah thats our last competition together. i just love this band and really proud to say im one of yishun secondary band member. thank you band for this achievement. a small band but strong bonds and friendship.its been great working with shawn and nic too. i will definitely miss that 'tong sampah'.haha
to mstan,
thank you for evrything u did. staying back with us till night although ur tummy is growing bigger. but from your effort, you've made me a leader and taught me to work maturedly.thank you for that.. do take care and we,shawn,nic and i will try our best to help the upcoming leaders,mdm chew and mrs lee.
to mr ong and mr pan..
our dear conductors have work as hard as us to lead our band and made us achieve what we have today.. we realy appreciate your great effort.motivational words and everthing that you did. you did so much things to fight for the band's right. thank you and we will come back..

esp to sufian and hafiz who never fails to come back...
thank you for spending ur time to help us out and giving comments that will even make us work harder to improve. its glad to see that u sacrifices ur free time. so to evryone. through supportive words or anything...thank you once again.

When i first signed you up for SYF, i am so afraid that we may not get anything but yesterday you have shown me that you have maintained the standard..

I saw all the effort that you people have put in, staying back till 8pm to practice. I understand these few weeks have been tough on all of you but you all din give up. Thanks for putting in your effort...
Your two instructors have also been working very hard.. Do thank them for the time they have spent with you and work with you....
I would like to thank all the alumni who come and support the band... Your support means alot to your juniors.
Thanks Hafiz and Sufian who are here most of the practice to help the kids out. Really a big thank you cos if you people are around, i worry less....
Not forgetting the 3 leaders, Nicola, Haziqah and Shawn.. Thank you for leading and taking care of your band.. You have done well as a leader... Keep it up! I understand that it's not easy to work under me cos will get scolding and i got alot of demand but i see that you all did not disapoint me. :) carry this confidence and leadership with you, you will go far...
The sec 4 and 5 also, i see all of you grow and saw the effort that you have put in for all the events and competitions. Keep it up! Don feel disappointed with what you have yesterday... You all have alreadi done your best and you have alreadi done well....
I may not be able to see all of you pass down on Speech Day as it is getting nearer and nearer to my delivery date but if i can make it, i will come and see u graduate from the band. All the best for your N and O level exam... Put in your best effort for ur national exam... I also wan to see that all of you do well to continue your further studies...
Sec 2 and Sec 3, now the seniors are going off soon. the band will depend on you. The sec 1 batch is big this year, our key focus will be to make them like band (become our big family) and also to learn all the skills to play the instruments well.... We have to work hard towards to 2011 SYF...now with a bigger number of members, we have to work hard and try to aim a silver in 2011.. So lets try our best to maintain this group of members, recruit about 30 members every year so that our strength will be big... train the juniors well...
I believe that the sec 2 and 3 can definitely do it ......
when i am not around for those months, the sec 3 leaders you will have to put in effort and hold the band together.. work with Mr Pan, Mr Ong, Mdm Chew and Mrs Lee.. I wan to see that the band will be stronger and more matured when i come back from my maternity leave... I believe that you all can do it...
Lastly, Darlings, you have done Yishun Sec proud... Continue to work hard....
