When i first signed you up for SYF, i am so afraid that we may not get anything but yesterday you have shown me that you have maintained the standard..

I saw all the effort that you people have put in, staying back till 8pm to practice. I understand these few weeks have been tough on all of you but you all din give up. Thanks for putting in your effort...
Your two instructors have also been working very hard.. Do thank them for the time they have spent with you and work with you....

I would like to thank all the alumni who come and support the band... Your support means alot to your juniors.
Thanks Hafiz and Sufian who are here most of the practice to help the kids out. Really a big thank you cos if you people are around, i worry less....

Not forgetting the 3 leaders, Nicola, Haziqah and Shawn.. Thank you for leading and taking care of your band.. You have done well as a leader... Keep it up! I understand that it's not easy to work under me cos will get scolding and i got alot of demand but i see that you all did not disapoint me. :) carry this confidence and leadership with you, you will go far...

The sec 4 and 5 also, i see all of you grow and saw the effort that you have put in for all the events and competitions. Keep it up! Don feel disappointed with what you have yesterday... You all have alreadi done your best and you have alreadi done well....

I may not be able to see all of you pass down on Speech Day as it is getting nearer and nearer to my delivery date but if i can make it, i will come and see u graduate from the band. All the best for your N and O level exam... Put in your best effort for ur national exam... I also wan to see that all of you do well to continue your further studies...

Sec 2 and Sec 3, now the seniors are going off soon. the band will depend on you. The sec 1 batch is big this year, our key focus will be to make them like band (become our big family) and also to learn all the skills to play the instruments well.... We have to work hard towards to 2011 SYF...now with a bigger number of members, we have to work hard and try to aim a silver in 2011.. So lets try our best to maintain this group of members, recruit about 30 members every year so that our strength will be big... train the juniors well...
I believe that the sec 2 and 3 can definitely do it ......

when i am not around for those months, the sec 3 leaders you will have to put in effort and hold the band together.. work with Mr Pan, Mr Ong, Mdm Chew and Mrs Lee.. I wan to see that the band will be stronger and more matured when i come back from my maternity leave... I believe that you all can do it...

Lastly, Darlings, you have done Yishun Sec proud... Continue to work hard....
